What happens when you don't know your local sewer system.

Look at this photo!!!

Wait........You can't.  Let me light it up a bit.

Can you see it?

Can you see where my phone went?

Hold on, let me zoom in.

I have developed a habit.  When I accidentally drop things (which often happens) I try to kick the thing before it hits the ground.  My logic is that having the thing skid across the ground is less damaging than having gravity pulverize it into the ground.

Well tonight I dropped my phone as usual and then as usual I kicked it.  But among this usual something unusual happened.  My phone skidded as usual but then it skidded towards the one sewer grate in the entire alley I was in.  And as you may suspect it popped off the grate, into the air, spun around and waved to me goodbye as it plopped down into the sewer drain.

For a second I was just impressed.  Imagine shooting a gun at a deer to find out you didn't touch the deer but hit a tick on it's back.  I kinda felt like that.

Then I realized my phone has just fallen down a sewer drain.  This is when I realized I have zero experience with Japanese sewer drains.  Are they deep?  If they are not deep are they pipey?  Are there any other characteristics about a sewer drain that I am not aware about?  But it wasn't until I tried to answer these questions did reality smack me spot in the face - I have no experience with sewer drains of other countries with which to compare.  I was a sitting duck in a placid lake of innocence with a hunters sight on my heart.

But I didn't have time to explore these mysteries.  I was on a mission to get cinnamon from the local market so my wiffie could make pumpkin cake in a rice cooker.  I lifted the grate up, reached into the gaping black hole, giggled with joy as I found out Japanese sewer drains are very shallow, pulled my phone out and continued with my life's objective.

The title of this post can represent many things.

 lets here some examples.

"A piece of code?"

"Some code?"

"Jibble?"

"Jabble?"

"A baby?"

Good Guesses Everyone!!!

For me, when I look at this piece of art I think of only one thing:  my blank word document after I had put my computer down on the bed to wrestle with my wife on the same bed.

Classic Shuffler #1

Occasionally I will be preoccupied with something, aka stuck in my head.  Maybe I'm writing a paper, clipping my nails, or thinking.  And occasionally Amy will be shuffling around in the background, out of my vision.  Maybe she is cleaning her closet, cutting her hair, or thinking. Due to the fact the shuffling sound last for such a long time occasionally it shakes me out my head and into her reality.  Sometimes what I see is nothing special but sometimes what I see is so.....Amy.  Below is one example.  This is Amy at 11 am, after breakfast, after a session of her shuffling.  She started out in her pajamas and ended up in some exercise tights, striped tight fit long sleeved shirt, and a furry vest.  Very Amy.  Classic Shuffler.
